The Week of December 21st at Lupine Lane


Hello all!



Merry Christmas! This is the last post before the holiday, but stay tuned for posts before the New Year about new locations and class times!!



Thank you all for your participation this past year! What a wonderful first year it has been! We have had such a wonderful time with all of the kids! Thank you all and Merry Christmas!



This week, we'll have our Monday classes and then, we'll start back the first week of 2010!



Lil' Absolutely Art
We'll be having an ornament extravaganza and make several ornaments for the tree!



Lil' Kinder Cooks
We'll be making holiday sweet treats, including pizelles, holiday fudge and more!

The Week of December 14th at Lupine Lane


Hello!



This will be our last week of classes for everyone except the Monday classes at Clay Madsen. We would like to wish everyone a wonderful holiday season!



Lil' Absolutely Art and Absolutely Art
We'll be creating Gingerbread House Frames!



Lil' Kinder Cooks and Kinder Cooks
We'll be creating our Gingerbread Houses and making Pizzelle Cookies!



Lil' Music Makers and Music Makers
We'll finish up our lessons on the Nutcracker by watching it! And, we'll finish by singing some Holiday tunes!



The After School Supper Club
We'll be making Honey Glazed Chicken, German Stuffing and Brown Sugar Glazed Carrots.

The Week of December 7th at Lupine Lane


Hello all! We'll continue our holiday traditions theme this week!



Lil Absolutely Art Absolutely Art
We'll be painting our ornaments that we made last week (if you weren't there, we'll have extra for you!) and decorating a little Christmas tree. Then we'll make cinnamon stick Santa ornaments!



Lil' Kinder Cooks and Kinder Cooks
We'll be making gingerbread dough and cut out the structure to make our houses next week. In addition, we'll make Hello Dollie cookies!



Lil' Music Makers and Music Makers
We'll continue our study of the Nutcracker as we read the story and begin to understand how the music tells the story without words.



The After School Supper Club
We'll be making Pork Tenderloin, Twice Baked Potatoes and Green Bean Casserole!

The Week of November 30th at Lupine Lane


Hello all! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! This month will be full of Holiday Cheer, as this month's theme is Holiday Traditions.

Lil' Absolutely Art and Absolutely Art
This week, we'll be making Santa Stockings and tiny ornaments for a little tree we'll decorate next week!


Lil' Kinder Cooks and Kinder Cooks
We'll start this month off by making a staple at the Italian Holiday Dinner Table: Lasagna! We'll make the lasagna pasta sheets from scratch using the pasta machines!


Lil' Music Makers and Music Makers
We'll be talking about the pieces in an orchestra. We'll also build on our knowledge of the fact that music creates emotion by learning how music can tell a story. We'll begin to listen to and learn about the Nutcracker!


The After School Supper Club
We'll be making holiday lasagna, a delicious roasted vegetable side salad and our first Italian cookie in our series of Italian cookies for desert this month.
