The Week of October 25th with Lupine Lane


Hello!


We have really exciting news this week! The Lern Organization has given Lupine Lane's After School Supper Club an award for it's innovation, practicality and uniqueness! Read the press release here! We are so proud of the kids who have made this class a reality and look forward to making many more suppers with them!


In addition, we will be at the Round Rock Fall Festival this Thursday decorating cookies to celebrate Halloween! Look for Curious George and the Man with the Yellow Hat to get a coupon for our classes at Clay Madsen!

This week, we'll be making Jack 'o Lantern bags for trick or treating! Then, we'll make some pumpkin prints and everyone will get some Halloween goodies!!


Lil' Kinder Cooks and Kinder Cooks
This week, we'll make Quiche Lorraine and we'll decorate some Halloween cookies!!


The After School Supper Club
This week we'll be making Quiche Lorraine with Green Bean Almondine and Creme Brulee for dessert!

The Week of October 17th with Lupine Lane


Hello!


We would like to thank Lakeway for having us out to the Goblin Glow and Friends of Tarrytown Park for having us at the fundraising party this past weekend! What fun seeing the big hot air balloons in Lakeway and painting pumpkins in Tarrytown!

We'll be painting ceramic pumpkins and making ghost prints with our feet! Fun!!!


Lil' Kinder Cooks and Kinder Cooks
We'll make a quick Boeuf Bourguignon and Egg Noodles!


The After School Supper Club
We'll be making a quick Boeuf Bourguignon and Egg Noodles. And, we'll make an Apple Gallette for dessert!

The Week of October 10th with Lupine Lane


Hey Everyone!


We strive to instill a love of reading and books by incorporating children's literature that connects to our class activity in a meaningful way. With that in mind, we want to mention that the Texas Book Festival is coming up this weekend, October 16th and 17th! It is an awesome, absolutely free event at the State Capitol with lots to do for kids and adults! Here is the kid's schedule of events!

We'll read Up and Down the Andes and make backpacks for our big treks to school or around
town!


Lil' Kinder Cooks and Kinder Cooks
We'll be the famous Ratatouille and some French Bread!


Lil' Music Makers
We'll introduce the ta and ti ti this week!


The After School Supper Club
We'll be making delicious and nutritious Ratatouille and French Bread! We'll also make Crepes for dessert!

The Week of October 3rd with Lupine Lane


Hello!


Lil' Absolutely Art and Absolutely Art
This month, we'll be using Laurie Krebs books as inspiration and then move on to Halloween art! This week, we'll be reading We're Riding on a Caravan and making some Chinese silk journals from the Silk Road!


Lil' Kinder Cooks and Kinder Cooks
As we move on from Indian cuisines, we'll use France as a new inspiration for our recipes! We'll read Madeline and make Chicken Cordon Bleu and Potatoes Au Gratin!


Lil' Music Makers
A new month will bring some Halloween songs!


The After School Supper Club
This month's theme is France! As we listen to the beautiful music of France, we'll make Chicken Cordon Bleu, Potatoes Au Gratin and Chocolate Mousse!
